Volkswagen recall on nearly 281,000 vehicles including the 2009-2016 CC, the 2006-2010 Passat sedan and the 2006-2010 Passat station wagon due to electrical issues.
The electricity powering the fuel pump could suddenly stop, causing the vehicle to stall. If the vehicle is in park, the same issue could cause the fuel pump to stay on, draining the car’s battery and preventing it from restarting.
Volkswagen currently does not have enough parts to fix every recalled vehicle. They will notify customers as they become available, but until then these stall-prone vehicles will remain on the road.
